A BRIEF STORY

Josep Font Famada, founder of the company, started at the age of 14 in the world of logistics. He worked as an assistant in a transport company in the area, delivering three days a week in Barcelona and on Saturdays at Vic's market. After this, he became part of Transports Vilaregut, and also worked as a chauffer in Joan Arenas, Arenes y Graves Castellot, Cereals Josep Serra Terricabres, Joan Salvans and others. At the beginning of the seventies, with a suitcase full of experience and some money saved, he founded, together along with his brother-in-law, the company Vinyas i Font SA. This commercial relationship lasted a few years, as in 1975 Josep Font decided to establish himself alone and offer national and general transport. In addition, Josep bought the first TX Troner in the region.

Currently, Dani and Josep, Josep's Font sons, run the business. The two started working for the company in 1995, The company has grown over the years and currently has a fleet of 20 trucks and 25 workers. It continues to have its headquarters in Manlleu and has acquired a new warehouse to store pallets at Polígon Malloles in Vic.
